"STEER CLEAR!! I have been having the worst experience I’ve ever had with an insurance company with Stare Farm. They issued checks without certain payees on them for my home claim that I filed two months ago. That situation is still being sorted out even two months down the road. Then I filed an auto claim for a cv axle had I hit something with causing it to bend. The bent cv axle then caused my transmission to destroy itself. They denied my claim due to the lack of impact damage to any other parts of the vehicle. They seem to be under the assumption that there is absolutely no way to bend a cv axle without damaging the undercarriage. I will admit that it is unlikely to happen, but it is far from impossible to bend a cv axle without damaging the undercarriage. The inspection they did to determine this was completely subpar as well. They did not put the vehicle on a lift and inspect the axle. The adjuster laid on his back under the vehicle and took a few pictures. Yet they want us to believe that they are “experts in vehicle inspections.” Absolutely laughable. I requested a secondary inspection and was told by the claims specialist that the inspection was completed. I asked the dealership if anyone else from State Farm had seen my vehicle, and they told me no one from State Farm had even contacted them to schedule said secondary inspection. So they bold faced lied about that. They are also lying about an invoice they claim they have on file from the dealership claiming I was there in May with the same problem. I had the dealership confirm that they have no invoices for me from the month of May. That is the second lie I have caught them in. The way they think they can get out of covering their clients’ claims is completely unacceptable."

State Farm’s policy was far superior and less expensive than the company contracted by the landlord. When we moved out and no longer required the renter’s insurance, the policy was cancelled retroactively to our move out date. Tonya was proactive and confirmed that the address should be updated on all policies. Then Tonya took care of that.
